IceDrive Support in OurClone: Not Available

OurClone cannot connect IceDrive today. Here's why, what that means for sync, transfer, backup, and mount workflows, and which supported clouds to use instead.

What Is IceDrive?

IceDrive is a consumer cloud storage service known for its client-side Twofish encryption and clean apps, used mostly for personal file storage through its own web, desktop, and mobile clients.

Official website: https://icedrive.net/

  • Consumer cloud storage with a built-in encrypted vault on paid plans.
  • Own web, desktop, and mobile apps for personal file storage and sharing.
  • No standard third-party access protocol available on current plans.

Does OurClone Support IceDrive?

Not yet. IceDrive cannot currently be added as a storage in OurClone.

  • OurClone connects to storage providers through the rclone engine, and rclone has no IceDrive backend.
  • IceDrive previously exposed a WebDAV endpoint, but that access has been discontinued by IceDrive – connections to the old WebDAV bridge no longer work on current accounts.
  • Because the account cannot be connected, none of OurClone’s workflows (sync, transfer, encrypted backup, or mount) can run against IceDrive.
If IceDrive restores a standard access protocol or an rclone backend becomes available, support will be revisited and this page updated. Last checked: August 2026.

What You Can Do Instead

If your files currently live in IceDrive, download them with IceDrive’s own apps first. Once they are in a local folder, OurClone can transfer, sync, back up, or mount them against any supported provider.

If you liked IceDrive for its encryption, these supported providers cover the same ground:
